Girishwar Misra is Professor of Psychology at the University of Delhi. His research and teaching interests include self and culture, creativity, cognitive development, social disadvantage, psychology of self, and Indian psychology. He has published extensively. His recent publications include Applied Social Psychology in India (Sage, 1990), Handbook of Psychology in India (Oxford, 2011), Foundations of Indian Psychology (with Matthijs & Varma, Pearson, 2011) and four volumes of Psychology in India: Advances in Research (Pearson, 2011).
After graduating in 1968, Ana investigated the psychological and educational aspects of creativity in a research institute, the Romanian Academy. Three decades later she became a professor at the Alexandru Ioan Cuza University in Iasi, Romania. Working in the Department of Psychology, she taught creativity and conflict resolution. Although Professor Constantin officially retired recently, she does not yet feel retired.
